Wow I actually wrote that quick

10 09 2008

Well actually I found my old one as well so well i guess you should read that one as well. The first one is, well obviously the latest one but the second one is the original poem.  I might try to icorperate them into one and mabey make a song but… . Here they are, and please leave me comments cause I haven’t gotten any in like forever.1)Why close your eyes

When you see suffering

Does closing your eyes

Make it go away

Or does it make it all better.

You may get respect but

Do they?

Equality isn’t very equal

is it?

Just think

You work hard

but so do they

hour after hour

blood after tear

a never ending cycle

Don’t point your finger

We are all to blame

Not just for doing

Or causing

But for letting it happen

as well

Just think

Do we “need” what

Comes from their suffering

Forged from their sweat

Built off their Misfortunes

Just think

Are Ipods really worth that

What about games, TVs, and

What about the outside

Thats free and comes from

A real builder mother nature

What about the “good old days”

Where everyone was more equal

Where everyone was on the same page

That may have been very long ago

Was there even a time

Where everyone was “equal”

I don’t know about one but surely

We can create one

If you want sit and

Wait, but if you do something

Then we can free all the workers

We can equalize the word

We can make it right!

2)Do you close your blind eyes

When you see the tired worker?

Do you hide from their pain

And suffering

When you see the bright sun

They see dark clouds and rain

Why do we hide from the truth?

When we hide others hide

Will the worker’s

Pain never end?

Do we need what they bleed for?

Ipods, computers, or phones

Do we “need” anything more?

Do we need more buildings

Cars, boats, or planes

Are we so lazy that others

Must do what we don’t want to?

Why don’t people try to fix this

Blood and slave built problem

Why do those that try fail?

People that ignore it

Belong in jail

To fix the problem we need

To stop buying

And that will stop crying

Why wont people just stop the tears

I Found Some Good Music

10 09 2008

Hey I don’t know if anyone is actually reading this but anyways I found some good music and thought I might share it with who ever reads this blog. The first song is “Running Up That Hill” by Placebo and the video is fan made. The Second Is “Into The Blue” by Blue October. I like the kind of calm mood that Running Up That Hill creates in your mind. It just makes you think; about life, about the world, about everything. Into the Ocean just makes me feel happy and tell me if it does the same for you. I was checking my old english teachers blog and saw an awesome song called “Fire On The Mountain” you should check it out. if either of them don’t work and a question mark appears then right-click on the question mark and open in new window or tab

Remembrance Of Mr R

31 08 2008

There are ways to remember  amazing people with huge positive contributions on your lives. You can dwell in the past and remember all the good times, but why not listen to music that reminds you of that person or read a poem, even look at some art because it is way easer to take your eyes and ears off. Music reminds me of Mr R and his fun teachings and good taste in music, that we were exposed to everyday. Because of him I now see art in ways I never did before. I can understand from more point of views and can see what the artist is saying and what the subliminal messages are.

Its A New School Year

31 08 2008

It seems like it is a new year. I wonder if any of the worlds problems will be solved, such as the gas price and the electric vehicles will be created. I wonder if the sky will become bluer with less pollution or if the air will become sweeter when it is pure. I guess the only way to know is to wait and see for ourselvs.

This Week In Class

8 03 2008

This week in class we only had two classes, and on the second class we had a sub because Mr. R was not there. On the first day we talked about power. We talked about who has it which I think is everyone because I think power is the ability to control or influence someone or something. If you are not in charge of a business and you are not a good motivational speaker, then you probably think that you don’t have control, but you do have control. And that control is over yourself. We also wrote a post about what would happen if some one had absolute power, would they become corrupt? We are reading The Wave, which is about power and is slightly related to nazis, because the children and teachers form a group called the wave and act like nazis. The second Day there was a sub and we did the questions that I answered in the last two posts.
