In The Wave David tries to convince Laurie that she should forget about what happened with the Nazis, He said “Forget about it. It happened once We learned our lesson. It will never happen again.” I do not agree with this statement because if we  just forget all the events that were bad and trust in the goodness of human nature we will forget and we will do the thing we tried to avoid and history will repeat  its self. Evil is a force that everyone is capable of doing but  people will not accept the evil, because someone will fight the evil and be a “good guy” in attempt to make the world a better place.
